MV Computer has been serving Tucson since 2006, we expanded our business to include the rent to own portion in April 2008.
The owner Michael
Van Hoesen worked at Intuit here in Tucson for 7 years- before starting MV
Computer Help His position as a Tier III technician was being eliminated from
Intuit, so he was offered a severance pay to leave, or the chance to apply for
another position within the company, he took the severance pay and went out on
his own to start MV Computer Help in October of
2006,
MV Computer Help offered computer repair service, QuickBooks help, etc.
Michael was born in Tucson and has lived here all of his life except, for
living in Virginia while serving in the Army. Co- owner Melinda was born
in Southern California, and lived in Tempe Arizona for over 10 years before
deciding to move to Tucson over 2 years ago.
In April of 2008
Michael wanted to expand the business. After talking to some people, he found
out there was a fair demand for people looking for a place to rent to own from
that were not big chain rent a centers. After some research, time, and
consideration, Michael decided to expand MV Computer Help to rent to own
Laptops, Desktops, and Video Game consoles, and chose to name the rent to own
end of the business simply MV Computer, at that time Melinda became the co-owner
as well.

We quickly came to realize that Tucson had no alternative to large chain rent a centers before MV Computer came along, and other than the obvious of trying to make a successful business, we also wanted to do things differently. As far as we know we are the only business in Tucson that currently offers any “competition” with regard to large chain rent a centers.

When considering where
to get your next computer, or game system,
please keep in mind these facts-
Typical chain rent a
centers do not offer new items, they are refurbished, and
if you request a new item they will charge more. We only
offer brand new in box, current model desktops, laptops
and game consoles.
We offer an easy, simple
no credit check application. If you have a verifiable source of
regular income, and verifiable place of residence (even if you
live with friends of family), in most cases
you can be approved the same day! We consider all types of
income, including disability. Visit our

You can also

There is no fine print,
hidden fees or charges, and we do not charge ANY taxes or
interest. Typical rent a centers will charge you daily compound
interest from day one of your rental. If you pay off your
system within 8 months, or less, we will give you back $50!
We offer free delivery
AND set up by a certified technician (Owner Michael). All of our systems are
covered by manufactures warranty-which means peace of mind for
you, and a quick resolution should your system give any
problems.
We work with you to set
up payments on your pay dates or other convenient days, in
addition we offer several no fee ways to pay!
For every friend, relative, co-worker etc. that you
refer to us, and they are approved-we will
subtract $20 off of your balance due. There is no limit on how many people you
can refer, we
will take $20 off of your balance due for EVERY approved applicant you refer!
